When the company formerly known as Hermann Berstorff joined the KaussMaffei group in 1994, the rubber molding machinery and resin compounding divisions of Berstorff were integrated with the extrusion machinery division, making the newly formed KraussMaffei-Berstorff an undisputed leader as one of the "world's largest manufacturers of polymer processing machinery."
Since 1975, our company has entered a series of licensing agreements with the former Hermann Berstorff GmbH for their single-screw rubber extruder with vent (degassing) feature, pin type rubber extruders, pin-convert type rubber extruders, and gear pumps for rubber, building a strong bond of trust between our two companies. For over thirty years, we have been tailoring Berstorff technology to the exacting standard of domestic rubber and plastics processors, succeeding in transforming the Berstorff brand into part of the industrial landscape of Japan.
